Hey, y’all!

This is a blog for pretty much anything and everything! I guess you could call it a lifestyle blog, if you want to pigeonhole it. My first post idea came out of a Facebook discussion and I wanted to do something that was way more interactive than Facebook Notes, allowing me to link to helpful information easily and seamlessly without interrupting the flow of text.

To introduce myself, I am Jocelyn Zoe Gibson (soon to be Keener, the wedding is in November). I currently live with my fiancé in Huntington, WV. I am a graduate student at Marshall University, working on a certificate in women’s studies. My fiancé and I both graduated with bachelor’s degrees in May, mine in psychology and journalism and his in physics and applied mathematics. As a couple, we love reading, hiking, camping and travel. We have a lot of individual hobbies as well, I’m an aspiring author who loves to crochet and drink hot tea. I consume way more coffee than I should, and get lost in way too many books. I am hoping to start a career as a freelance copy editor in the near future, so I will link to that website when it’s up and running. My husband-to-be is destined for a career in the Army Special Forces. We have huge aspirations for our future, including an alpaca farm, and I hope some of you will follow our journey here as I update it.
